FieldDay Worker
Thousands of organizations in hundreds of industries employ field workers. Ensuring high productivity requires efficient dispatching, clear task assignment, and easy access to customer, location, expertise, tools, equipment, and parts information. A multitude of communication devices are available ranging from cell phones to laptops. While these devices can be loaded with software, hosted software available over the Internet is preferable for convenience, scalability, and ease of upgrades and maintenance. FieldDay Solutions will develop on-demand applications for the following field organizations: technical support, deliveries, janitorial/maid service, home-health, social work, pest control, gardening, security, utilities, tow-trucks, taxicabs, oilfields, agricultural, and others. We will interface this software to the most popular hosted CRM system: Salesforce.com. Initially, FieldDay’s software will be hosted by Salesforce.com and sold through its AppExchange program. The FieldDay FieldWorker architecture rests on a single transaction-based core module that can be modified in days to meet the needs of more than 20 known industries. It will also be capable of easy adaptation to mobile workers of the future. This architecture will be copyrighted and patented. Of more than 40 Field Service software packages on the market, only a couple are available as hosted applications.
